Today, the square captivates with its pavement cafés, called Schanigärten, as soon as the weather permits. We continue to interesting inner courtyards and the Mozart House Vienna, Mozart’s only surviving Viennese residence. Via Bäckerstraße street, we come to the Old University. From the 14th century onwards, this area developed into a university district until 1884. That year, the new university at Ringstraße street could be moved into. The Jesuit church is a baroque jewel. Through Heiligenkreuzerhof courtyard, we reach Griechenbeisl, Vienna’s oldest restaurant. There, we encounter the legend of dear Augustin.
